Esra Yardimci

Esra Yardimci is a Turkish-born artist from the city of Istanbul. Having worked in marketing and advertising for many years, Esra decided to embark upon a new journey in 2009 with a focus on Turkish arts - strongly inspired by the city of her birth. It was not long before she was accepted into the Department of Turkish Arts at FSM Vakif University where she later graduated in Tahzib (Manuscript Illumination) in 2011 and then Calligraphy in 2016.

Her postgraduate academic journey continued on the subject of mosaic works in Islamic architecture with a strong focus on the Cordoba Masjid. Over the course of the last 10 years, Esra has been creating artwork for international love-lovers and has participated in a number of group exhibitions.

She has also run classes on Tahzib and undertaken corporate commissions. Since 2018, Esra has resided in Barcelona where she continues to create and teach.
