Margi Lake

Margi Lake is an artist inspired by traditional geometric patterns from Islamic lands. Born and raised in the UK, she has studied Islamic geometry and art with world-renowned masters in the UK and on location in the Islamic world. Her work reflects a lifelong interest in Sufism and the world’s wisdom traditions.

Her approach to the creative process of drawing and painting Islamic geometric patterns integrates the concepts of cosmic order and timeless principles found within those traditions.  Astoundingly, Margi’s passion for drawing and painting began in only 2014. Since then, her incredible talent has been liked and appreciated by fans from all over the world leading to over 14,000 followers on Instagram alone. Margi is now based in the Netherlands.
