Sandy Kurt

Sandy Kurt is an artist, self-taught designer, and educator who is hell-bent on teaching everyone how to get started with Islamic geometry. Her passion for Islamic geometry began only in 2016 with an online course, an old compass and some cheap watercolours.

Her talent and miniature complex geometry and sense of colour soon captured the attention of social media and before long, she was inspiring thousands of artists to get started with this traditional art form.

Never expecting to be an artist, within 2 years, she began collaborating with brands around the world, bringing her unique style to life through product design.

Today, Sandy is an acclaimed artist and designer in her own right. She brings her positivity towards art and her personable style to workshops around Europe, online tutorials and Instagram, where she has an ever-growing fan base.
