Zeynep Iqbal, an architect and artist of Turkish heritage has created works which focus on traditional design and architectural design. Her project portfolios include studies on mosques, cultural centres and various historic buildings. Zeynep is a graduate of Architecture from the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. She then pursued architectural practice in Berlin and Istanbul before co-founding her own architectural studio, the IK Architecture Group, in Liverpool UK.

In 2016, she enrolled onto an MA course at the School of Traditional Arts in London, with specific focus on hand drawings, painting techniques and traditional material preparation techniques. She was awarded a Distinction as well as the prestigious Kairos Prize, which was presented by HRH The Prince of Wales.

She gained further accreditation in 2018 when she was awarded the INTBAU Excellence Award within the Emerging Talent category, specifically for her design and paintings of the Turkish Cultural Centre in London.
