"When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy." Rumi
Nadia Djavanshir is a Scotland-based, self-taught artist whose main medium is watercolour painting. Inspired by this Rumi quote, Nadia has an incredibly sensitive approach to her work, which she believes is a reflection of her internal feelings and external inspirations - pure and meditative yet studious of the places in which she has found beauty and endless inspiration.
Nadia’s paintings are an expression of Oriental Persian and Indian Miniature painting styles, combined with Western abstraction - a style which reflects her own personal identity. She attempts to balance fluidity and freedom with the precise and restrained architectural detailing that has always inspired her.
We are truly excited to be hosting this incredible up-and-coming artist on our platform and we are sure you are going to love her work.
