Sadaf Farasat is a Malaysian-based Islamic artist who trained under the guidance of Saeed Akhtar. 

Sadaf has concentrated her art on the central theme of Islamic spirituality, and the depth of Sufism in particular, has been the core theme of her work for almost 20 years. Sadaf states that she is particularly attracted by the Sufi philosophy of ridding oneself of ego and selfishness and her works are a fantastic depiction of Mevlevi Sufis, commonly known as the Whirling Dervishes.
